Thimios Bouloutas is a Partner at Grant Thornton Greece and has a significant experience in Banking, Asset Management and Industrial Sector. Currently he is one of the partners in charge of Financial Services in Greece.
During the course of his career Mr. Bouloutas has served as a CEO of MIG, Marfin Popular Bank, Eurobank Asset Management and Ionian Mutual Funds, and has been General Manager and member of the Executive Committee at Eurobank. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delta, Barba Stathis and a member of the Board of Directors of Vivartia, Attica Enterprises, Olympic Airways, EFG Bank Luxemburg, EFG Private Bank.
He has been the engagement partner or the project manager leading the project teams of several projects to financial institutions and he contributes to the strengthening of the operations of Financial Services Division by undertaking tasks as NPL’s management related services, M & A activities related services, Lead Advisory, Restructuring and reorganization activities services, Asset Management related services, Investment management related services.
Mr. Bouloutas holds a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a MSc from Stanford University and a BSc of Civil Engineer from National Technical University of Athens.
