Experience
Eleni is a Partner and Head of the Operations department at Grant Thornton and has many years of professional experience. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business from the Department of Accounting & Finance. She has many years of experience in statutory and tax audits, as well as in quality reviews in a variety of audit firms for statutory and tax audit projects and consulting projects.
She is responsible for overseeing organizational changes that are implemented to achieve corporate strategy and operational effectiveness. Her responsibilities include overseeing the company's digital transformation and shaping new policies and procedures that promote the company's culture, vision and values, assessing and mitigating significant risks, as well as regulatory and technological threats, and participating in decision-making to solve problems in key areas and activities.
She is also a member of the Quality & Risk Management department where she has the responsibility and oversight for ensuring Grant Thornton's compliance with applicable laws, regulations and the company's internal policies on quality control, risk management and professional ethics.
