Experience

Christina Tsironi is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at Grant Thornton Greece, where she is the Head of Sustainability & Governance Services practice and brings multiple years of professional experience.

She joined Grant Thornton Greece in 2003 and, throughout her professional career, has played a pivotal role in delivering high-value assurance and advisory services to both Greek and international organizations, listed and non-listed alike. 

She has held leadership positions within the Assurance business line and has performed complex external audit and regulatory compliance engagements across a broad range of sectors within the Greek economy. Through this experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges associated with modern corporate governance, sustainable development, and organizational transformation.

Having over 23 years of professional experience, she now specializes in the strategic integration of ESG practices, enhancement of corporate governance frameworks, and design of operating models that strengthen organizational transparency, resilience, and long-term sustainable value creation. 

Christina holds a degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In addition, Christina has completed the Senior Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School, further strengthening her expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational effectiveness.

As part of her professional activities, she actively participates in conferences, institutional forums, and consultation working groups on corporate governance and sustainability issues, representing Grant Thornton Greece. She has also contributed to the authorship of specialized publications and articles on IFRS, as well as topics relating to contemporary corporate governance and sustainable business practices.
