Experience

Christos is Partner in the Business Process Outsourcing Department at Grant Thornton Greece and brings multiple years of professional experience. He is also an Economist and a Class A Certified Accountant, accredited by the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE). He holds an MBA with a specialization in Accounting and is certified in IFRS by the ICAEW.

With over twenty years of experience in tax and accounting consulting and compliance, Christos has held managerial positions in leading consulting firms in Greece.

Throughout his career, he has overseen the accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance of Greek entities and subsidiaries of major multinational groups. His expertise includes handling complex tax matters such as corporate income tax, the interpretation and application of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), VAT, stamp duties, and accounting compliance. He has also represented clients in tax audits conducted by both the tax authorities and certified auditors, particularly within the framework of the Annual Tax Compliance Certificate.
