Throughout her career, she has developed significant expertise in corporate transformations, mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructurings. She has provided advisory services across a wide range of industries, including energy, tourism, retail, and food, supporting organizations in complex strategic and financial decision-making. Her experience includes, among others, business plan assessments, support in financing processes, and business viability analysis, contributing effectively to critical decision-making.
She has a strong background in financial management and performance monitoring, with experience in budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, and the implementation of reporting frameworks and KPIs. She has contributed to process optimization and to enhancing the quality and reliability of financial information, actively supporting management in making well-informed strategic decisions. In the banking sector, she has served as a member of the Corporate Banking division of a Greek systemic bank, gaining valuable experience in financing, credit assessment, and corporate client management.
Maria holds the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) professional qualification. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and an MSc in Banking.
