PRESS RELEASE

Grant Thornton was certified as a Great Place to Work

Grant Thornton was certified as a Great Place to Work, standing out for its excellent working environment and corporate culture, following an evaluation carried out by the Great Place to Work Hellas organization.

Grant Thornton’s people indicated and confirmed that the company is a Great Place to Work through the Trust Index questionnaire, completed anonymously and confidentially. The questionnaire focused on five axes considered significant for any working environment: reliability, respect, justice, pride and fellowship.

Through this appraisal, employees recognized Grant Thornton for its people-centric culture, its actions taken to foster meaningful relationships based on equality and trust, and its systematic investment in creating a model working environment.

Moreover, Grant Thornton's robust working environment is confirmed by the fact that 90% of its people state that the company provides training programs and development opportunities for their professional growth, while 88% characterize the company as "a friendly working environment". At the same time, 85% feel they are making a difference working at Grant Thornton, while 83% say they are proud to work here.

The Great Place to Work certification is another incentive and a promise for Grant Thornton to continue its daily actions to promote a pleasant and dynamic working environment, driven by enabling every employee personal development, providing equal opportunities to everyone, security, as well as work-life balance. The organization itself, has been steadily moving in this direction in the course of time, through actions such as the implementation of the Hybrid Working Model, that makes it possible for everyone to work up to two days per week remotely, offering more flexibility and reducing its environmental footprint just as well.

On the occasion of the honorary distinction received by the organization, Vassilis Kazas, Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Greece, said: "Being a model working environment is a challenge that requires ongoing efforts and a collaborative approach in everything we do. Well-being and physical and mental health of our people is a non-negotiable priority for us us and, therefore, we have implemented a number of pioneering actions, always guided by our human-centered corporate culture. The Great Place to Work certification is a practical confirmation that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure an ideal working environment for our people. After all, it is our people themselves who shape Grant Thornton's identity and culture. And together, we are taking firm steps towards a future full of successes".

Katerina Koulouri, Partner, Head of the People Experience and Culture Department of Grant Thornton Greece, said: "Grant Thornton certification as a Great Place to Work is an important recognition for us and proves our continuous dedication to our people and to creating a safe and balanced working environment, for everyone. After all, the certification came from our people, and this is our greatest reward but also a great responsibility for the future, since we can meet our objectives only if we work altogether. We are greatly thankful to everyone for their trust and we pledge to continue with the same passion, inspiring positive change, and building up an environment of opportunities and equality, in which all our people can unfold their personalities and make a difference".
