Nikos Garbis is a Partner in the Assurance Department of Grant Thornton Greece and brings multiple years of professional experience in the auditing and consulting services sector. He is a Chartered Auditor Accountant, holder of a post-graduate professional education qualification from SOEL and holder of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Certificate from ACCA.

During his many years of experience he has acquired extensive expertise in rendering assurance services at companies in many business sectors, mainly in industries, energy and retail trade companies. His experience includes management and agreed- upon-procedures audits and audits of European funding programs. In the field of consulting services, he has considerable experience in providing support for the implementation of International Accounting Standards for Financial Reporting and the Public Sector (IFRS and IPSAS).
