Konstantinos is a Chartered Accountant, Partner & Head of the Financial Services department of Grant Thornton and has significant professional experience in regular auditing projects as well as in consulting.
During his career, Konstantinos has gained wide-ranging expertise and specialization as he has led teams in regular auditing of large listed companies and in consulting services in mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings, corporate transformations and special managements areas.
In purely banking business, he has led Grant Thornton's advisory team to the implementation of the most significant initiative in frontloading reduction of non-performing systemic bank exposures; he has been involved in assurance and valuation projects of portfolios of financial institutions for international investment funds and regulators and he has provided assurance and valuation services in the recent transformations (carve-out) of systemic financial institutions. In addition, he has led teams in provision auditing services on the loan portfolios of systemic financial institutions based on the instructions of the supervisory authorities.
Finally, Mr. Kazas belongs to the editing team of the Grant Thornton's IFRS book.

Konstantinos is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (S.O.E.L.), holder of the professional title ACCA and candidate for the professional title CFA (Candidate level III). He holds a degree in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University.
Konstantinos is a Greek native speaker, a fluent English speaker and has a very good knowledge of French.
