Connected Intelligence | The Future Advantage
Future Unfold returns for its fourth edition on 24 November 2026 at the Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall, bringing together more than 2,000 business leaders, academics, innovators and technology experts from Greece and abroad.
Technology is entering a phase in which its significance lies increasingly in the relationships it creates between systems, disciplines and forms of intelligence. Artificial intelligence, data, automation and digital infrastructures are converging into interconnected technological environments, transforming not only organizational capabilities, but also the foundations of decision-making, institutional operation and economic competitiveness. As these technologies become increasingly interconnected, understanding their combined potential, and what it means for organizations, is becoming as important as the technologies themselves.
This year’s theme, “Connected Intelligence | The Future Advantage,” examines this emerging continuum and its implications for business and society. As machine intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in organizational processes and connected data environments, the distinction between technological capability and organizational intelligence is becoming less defined. At the same time, the relationship between human judgement and intelligent systems is becoming increasingly important. The strategic question is therefore no longer simply what technology can achieve, but how organizations can design, govern and deploy these capabilities to create durable value and advantage.
Across discussions spanning AI-enabled decision-making, cross-domain data integration, intelligent infrastructures, cybersecurity and technology governance, Future Unfold will also explore the organizational and institutional conditions facilitating transformation: leadership, skills to organizational readiness, responsible innovation and human judgement. Because realizing the potential of connected intelligence depends not only on technological capability, but on the capacity to translate it into meaningful progress.
Bringing together perspectives from business, government, academia and the global technology ecosystem, Future Unfold has evolved over four editions into a platform for examining technological transformation as a systemic development, and for considering the economic, organizational and societal structures that will determine how its possibilities are ultimately realized. It is a space for understanding what matters, anticipating what comes next and exploring how technology can be translated into meaningful business and societal progress.
The “Future Unfold” initiative reflects Grant Thornton’s vision for Greece’s digital future.
