Experience
Kostas is a Tax Partner, of the Tax Department of Grant Thornton Greece and brings more than 10 years of experience. He is an Attorney-at-Law, Master of Public Law, Aix Marseille III, ADIT and works with Grant Thornton since 2014. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association, and its tax committee, as well as a member of the tax committee of the Hellenic French Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, he is a member of the EU VAT Task Force of Grant Thornton`s network.
He is experienced in a wide variety of tax issues, in particular Value Added Tax, indirect taxation, taxation of financial transactions and RSE, corporate M&As and restructuring as well as general corporate tax issues.
He is also handling issues of individual income taxation, wealth and property tax, inheritance/gift tax for private clients, as well as tax issues of the maritime sector.
He has handled successfully important litigation cases before the Council of State and Court of Appeals.
He is a member of the drafting committee of the weekly column “Forodoxies” of Grant Thornton published weekly in “Kathimerini”. He is also a regular contributor of articles in newspapers and reviews and participates regularly as a speaker in tax conferences and seminars.
